A primary goal of the Platform Land is to renovate vacant buildings and properties in particular and thus make them attractive and usable again in order to counteract increasing urban sprawl and out-migration. This requires expert and easily accessible refurbishment advice for citizens and municipalities.

Costs of redevelopment counselling for
Citizens: 400.00 euros plus VAT.
Municipalities: 1,000.00 euros plus VAT.

The projects selected by a jury will be accompanied on the path to refurbishment, from the first initial discussion and site inspection, through cost estimates and selection of funding, to the commissioning of a planner.

Thanks to the support of the Südtiroler Sparkasse Foundation and in collaboration with the Chamber of Architects, this was once again possible in 2024 at a preferential price for selected properties.

Funding opportunities for refurbishments can be found in the “SHELTER funding guidelines” for private individuals, companies and municipalities.
